⚡️Find Your Flow: A Freestyle Shuffle Dance Experience⚡️

Take your shuffling to the next level in Find Your Flow, a 2-hour freestyle-focused workshop designed for dancers who already know the fundamentals and are ready to move with more confidence, creativity, and ease. This workshop is all about connecting your moves, learning how to enter and exit combos naturally, and feeling more comfortable freestyling—without overthinking it.

What to expect:

👟 Warm-Up & Foundation (20 minutes) We’ll start with a full-body warm-up, followed by drilling shuffle fundamentals to get grounded, energized, and ready to move with intention.

☕ Reset & Roadmap (5 minutes) Quick break to catch your breath, ask questions, and go over what’s coming next so you feel clear and supported.

👟 Combos + Flow Building (30-45 minutes) Learn two brand-new combos and drill them thoroughly. You’ll also practice: Moves you can do before the combos to insert them into a freestyle Moves you can do after the combos to keep your flow going Multiple ways to transition so the combos feel natural, not forced

🎶 Freestyle, Games & Creative Play (Remaining time) The rest of the workshop is dedicated to freestyling and having fun. Expect guided freestyle time, creative games and challenges, and low-pressure exercises designed to open your mind, loosen your body, and help you trust your movement. This is a supportive, judgment-free space to explore your style, try new things, and truly find your flow.

🚨 Requirements: Participants must already know shuffle fundamentals. If you’re new to shuffling, we recommend taking a few Shuffle 101 classes first, or the Foundation To Flow: Beginner Shuffle Series course which begins February 20th! Shuffle 101 is offered all Tuesday evenings at Passion.
