Pleasure temples were places of profound healing, expansion, ecstasy, and connection, where every soul could experience the depth of sacred sexuality.

On this potent night of the Scorpio Full Moon and the Celtic fire festival of Beltane, Emily Barry—Priestess of the Stars and Priestess of the River Valley in the Avalon tradition—will open a modern-day Pleasure Temple.

This is a night of merging holy fire and sacred water. Beltane ignites the flames of passion, fertility, and life force, while the Scorpio Full Moon illuminates the depths and invites us to release, transform, and be reborn. Together we will cross this powerful threshold. In the spirit of Beltane’s fire and Scorpio’s deep waters, we will begin the sacred act of unraveling and ceremonially shed the layers, stories, and energies that no longer belong to us. We make space for the truth of who we are to emerge.

This experience weaves together ritual, inner connection, embodiment, breathwork, movement, and sensual floorwork. You will be guided through sensual floorwork and then invited into spacious exploration, allowing your body to move, release, create, and express freely. We will shed what no longer serves us (literally and figuratively). We will celebrate our bodies as our most sacred temple. We will leave wholly transformed and liberated.

Dress the part by adorning your whole being with clothing and/or lingerie that allows you to feel empowered and euphoric. Spritz yourself with your most tantalizing scent. Drape yourself in crystal jewelry. Wear your most expressive makeup. Wear or bring any item that allows you to fully express yourself.
