A SEXY JAZZ FUNK Music Video Experience (Intermediate)
SONG: All Hands On Deck by Tinashe
Do you fantasize about being in your own pop music video? Well, now is your time!
In this course, we will be learning a sexy jazz funk number that is inspired by the commercial jazz dance world! We will invoke a sultry confidence - influenced by Tinashe’s song All Hands On Deck. The moves are bold, sexy, and, because it is jazz, sassy as hell 🔥. It will also pull style influence from heels and hip hop!
We will learn and practice the dance in 3 sessions. The choreography will be learned in the first two sessions, and the third session will be focused on facial expressions and performing in front of a camera. We will also rotate groups/formations so that everyone can have a chance in the spotlight! The location of the shoot will be at a warehouse/industrial building. The exact location is TBD but it will be somewhere local to the Beacon area.
During this course you will also learn tips and tricks for how to perform in front of a camera to prepare you for the shoot!
Costumes: TBD *costumes are not included in price, but will be reasonable or something from your closet (or your friend’s closet) and we will discuss as a group

🎥The End Video Product ~ You will walk away from this series with a 3ish minute video of you and 2 others starring in the video. For example, if we have 9 people sign up, we will end up with 3 groups of 3 dancers and each group will be featured in a single video. So in the end we'd have 3 similar videos featuring 3 separate groups of dancers.
